EFFECTIVENESS OF SYNECTIC MODEL OF TEACHING ON CREATIVITY AND ACHIVEMENT IN PHYSICS AT SECONDARY SCHOOL LEVEL By S. Sumamol[1] and A.Dhanya [2]

Abstract

The Synectics model is induced in the Information processing family of model. It can be argued that the ability to go beyond the known and synthesis fresh ideas and solutions is the ultimate information skill. It can also be argued that possessing the freedom to create is one of the peaks of personal development. Here the investigator selected experimental method to analyze the effectiveness of teaching learning process based on Synectics model of teaching on achievement in physics and creativity among secondary school students. Synectics model of teaching was more effective than the existing method with respect to creativity.
