This study determines the effectiveness of Mnemonics technique in the achievement of Social Science. The investigator used Experimental method in the study. The design selected for the study was Pretest Post Test Non-equivalent group. The study was conducted in St. Theresa’s H.S Manappuram, Alappuzha District..The investigator proposed to use a sample of forty four students from two divisions. The statistical technique used was ANCOVA. The study revealed that the Mnemonics Technique is more efficient than the Conventional method in the teaching of Social Science at Secondary School Level.
