Abstract

The present study is conducted to find out the Behavioral problems of CWSN attending Inclusive Education and Behavioral problems of CWSN attending Special Schools. The objectives are, (1) To find out the difference between boys and girls with special needs attending in Inclusive Education in Behavioral Problems. (2) To find out the difference between boys and girls with special needs attending in Inclusive Education in Behavioral Problems. The samples were 100 children with special needs consisted of boys and girls ranging age from 6-14 attending in Inclusive Education and 100 children with special needs consisted of boys and girls ranging age from 6-14 attending in Special Schools selected from Seven Government schools of Kottayam district and four Special Schools of Kottayam District. The tools used were General Data Sheet (GPS) and Teacher Report of Behavioral Problems (TRBP) (Radhika.S & Dr. Razeena Padmam – 1993). The statistical techniques used were Computation of Arithmetic Mean and Standard Deviation and the Computation of‘t’ value to test the significance of difference between the means of two groups of data. The study reveals that he CWSN attending in Inclusive Education has higher Behavioral Problems than CWSN attending Special School. There is no significant difference between boys and girls with special needs attending in Special School in Behavioral Problems. There is no significant difference between boys and girls with special needs attending in Inclusive Education in Behavioral Problems.
