PERCEPTION OF THE BENEFICIARIES TOWARDS CSR SELF-HELP GROUP PROGRAMMES SPONSORED BY DCBL, IN SELECTED VILLAGES OF ARIYALUR REVENUE BLOCK, ARIYALUR DISTRICT By Ignatius[1]

Abstract

CSR closely linked with the principles of sustainable development, according to which companies should be obliged to make decisions based not only on economic factors but also on the Social, environmental and other consequences of their activities. Triple Bottom Line (TBL) takes in its fold the following three parameters like economic, Environmental and social factors. Without women participation the corporate Social Responsibility Practices will not be success. The researchers adopted descriptive research design, and by using simple random (Lottery method) 30 respondents were chosen. The data was collected by self prepared Interview schedule. The study revealed that the perception of the beneficiaries towards Self Help Group programmes sponsored by Dalmia Cement (B) Ltd., in selected villages of Ariyalur Revenue block , Ariyalur.
