A LOVING HOME FOR EVERYCHILD: A CASE STUDY ON SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE, ALUVA By T. Renjeesh[1]

Abstract

   SOS Children’s Villages of India is a non profit, non-government, voluntary organization, committed to the care of children in need. The aim & objective of the SOS Children’s Villages of India is to help orphaned and homeless children by giving them a family, home and a strong foundation for an independent and secure life. SOS children’s Village offer good education and training in a holistic spirit and prepare children for his better future life. In SOS all the children are optimistic and satisfied in their life. They made decisions and do their duties independently. The all SOS Children are self confident and had leadership quality within them. There are 58 young adults on their rolls undergoing schooling, university education, vocational training and apprenticeships. The Village Director controls the SOS Children’s Village. SOS face some obstacles in the selection of SOS Mother and child and a better job for SOS Children.71 marriage held in this Loving Home and there arise no divorce cases and SOS create airman, government employees, doctors, engineers, teachers etc.
