Abstract
The aim of the present study was to study Spiritual well-being and Self-esteem among physically challenged adults. 102 persons with physical disability were purposively taken from Composite Rehabilitation Centre (CRC), Bemina, Srinagar; Hope Rehabilitation Centre, Wayil, Ganderbal; University of Kashmir; Various colleges and different residential areas of Kashmir. A Spiritual Well-Being Scale and Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale were used to examine spiritual well-being and self-esteem respectively. Significant positive correlation of spiritual well-being and self-esteem was found among physically challenged adults revealing that higher the spiritual well-being, higher would be self-esteem. Further no demographic variables viz., gender, origin of impairment and duration of impairment showed any significant difference either for spiritual well-being or self-esteem among physically challenged adults.
