A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TRIBAL AND NON-TRIBAL STUDENTS IN RELATION TO THEIR SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT By Dr. Afa Dul Mujiaba

Abstract

The present study is intended to examine the differences between Tribal and Non-tribal students in relation to their social adjustment. The study was conducted on the sample of 120 students selected from two degree colleges of district Poonch (Poonch and Surankote). Purposive sampling technique was used in the present investigation. The data was collected by applying a standardized social adjustment inventory by Dr. Roma Pal and the data was analyzed by using ‘t’ Test. The findings of the study revealed significant differences between the tribal and Non-tribal students in regard to their social adjustment.
