Abstract

Information and computer technology have bought new possibilities in to the classroom and also provide powerful support for educational innovations. In the recent technological advancement in educational field are virtual education, virtual classroom, virtual universities, online courses, electronic and cyberspace institution etc. There has been a transparent explosion of web based courses in the past few years. Virtual classroom has taken a lead role in the teaching learning process. This paper is an effort to summarize the features, merits and demerits of virtual class room and suggest steps to design virtual class room.
