We live in the technology driven world. The world that technology has created is a world of machines computers, computer systems and computer networks. With the help of the internet a vast repertoire of information is available at the click of mouse. More than any other medium the internet has grown immensely over the span of one decade. It has opened the doors for a treasure of information. Cyber crime is an evil having its origin in the growing dependence on computers in the life. In a day and age when everything from microwave ovens and refrigerators to nuclear power plants is being run on computers, cyber crime has assumed rather sinister implications. The present study is an attempt to find out the awareness of cyber law in adolescence and to give suggestions for chalking out programmers’ for imparting cyber laws in the secondary school curriculum. The major objectives of the study were to study the need for introducing cyber law topics in higher secondary school curriculum. The investigator used normative survey for the present study and random sampling technique was employed. The present study reveals that majority of the higher secondary school students have average awareness about cyber laws. But sometimes they did not care about using internet. Most of the higher secondary school students were users of social networking sites. Even some of the students may possess cyber criminal tendency. The present curriculum cannot make aware of the students about the punishment and problems of cyber laws.
