ATTITUDE OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TOWARDS GRADING SYSTEM IN WEST BENGAL By Maran Bandhu Majumder

Abstract

In the present study the investigator study the attitude of teachers and students towards grading system. The investigator used Descriptive Survey Method. The samples consist of 100 students & 100 teachers in the district of Jalpaiguri. The investigator developed tool themselves to measure the attitude of teachers & students towards grading system. For the analysis of data‘t’ test has been used in the present study. The overall findings indicate that teachers and students have favorable attitude towards the grading system and teachers have more favorable attitude towards the grading system than the students. It is also found that there is significant difference of attitude towards grading system between class six & class nine students. There is significant difference of attitude towards grading system between Primary teachers & Secondary teachers. And there is significant difference of attitude towards grading system between students and teachers.
