Abstract
The present investigation was intended to study the relative effectiveness on achievement in chemistry at Secondary level through multimedia Teaching. Pre-test Post-test Equivalent Group design was used. The sample consisted of 70 students from Standard IX, Z.K.M. Higher Secondary School in Theni District, Tamil Nadu. It was found that multimedia teaching has significant gain on achievement in chemistry because; it helps to retain and maintain interest for longer periods of time. A positive correlation is seen between achievement in chemistry and attitude towards multimedia. Keywords: Secondary level, Multimedia teaching, Achievement in chemistry, Attitude towards multimedia.
