Abstract
The study was intended to examine the relationship between achievement motivation and creativity of class IX students. The sample comprised of 100 (50 girls and 50 boys) class IX students studying in two Government schools of Chandigarh. Findings revealed a significant difference in Achievement Motivation and Creativity in relation to gender: girls students were found to outscore boy students for both variables. Significant correlation between Achievement Motivation and Creativity of class IX students was found.
